Driving the Driftless area

The driftless area is a portion of the upper Mississippi river valley that was left untouched by the glaciers back when they were receding. What that creates, are beautiful bluffs with decent elevation. This is the Mid-West after all. Let’s not get too crazy.

Having grown up with my wife in the Quad City region a little further south, heading back home to Minnesota gives us a beautiful fall drive.

About halfway home, Whitewater State Park in Minnesota has an excellent trail system. Definitely worth stopping through if you ever get a chance.

Enjoy the pics!
